Safer Internet Week 2016
Safer Internet Week is due to take place between Monday 8 and Friday 12 February 2016. A number of activities have been organised to take place during the week, amongst which is the #ShareAHeart initiative. On national Safer Internet Day, Tuesday 9 February, it is hoped that people online will share a heart in order to promote respect and kindness online. Full details, as well as assembly and lesson plans, can be found in the poster below.

National Safer Internet Day

As part of the National Safer Internet Day on 9th February 2016, MKSCB and UK Internet Safety Centre are encouraging everyone to play their part and asking schools and organisations to take part in their #ShareAHeart campaign. The heart, a universal sign for love, will be used to promote respect and kindness online on safer internet day. We would like your school to take part in our Milton Keynes #ShareAHeart campaign across the week 8-12th February 2016. We believe that it is important that your students learn about internet safety as much of their lives are online and for them to think about how they could promote respect and kindness.
