The Independent Chair of Milton Keynes Safeguarding Board is Jane Held. Jane came into post on 1 September 2015.

The current membership of the MKSB includes representatives of the three safeguarding partners – Milton Keynes Council, MK CCG and Thames Valley Police – plus representatives from Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The MKSB is chaired by Jane Held.
Overseeing progress against the agreed business priorities and reporting on progress to the MKSB are an Adult Programme Board and a Children’s Programme Board. The membership of the two Programme Boards is much wider than the Board and includes Bucks Fire and Rescue Service, Healthwatch MK, HMP Woodhill, Milton Keynes College, National Probation Service, Oakhill STC, Schools (Secondary, Primary and Special School representatives) and Thames Valley Community Rehabilitation Company (TVCRC).
The Adult Programme Board is chaired by a representative from Milton Keynes Council and the Children’s Programme Board is chaired by a representative from Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
